Terms of use
Last updated: 10 August 2026. These terms cover the current GrantSignal validation-list website only. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a solicitor before a paid service launches.
Current service
GrantSignal is currently an early-access validation-list website. Creating an account does not start a trial, subscription, purchase, paid service or access to a funding-intelligence dataset. Future features, access and terms are conditional on further validation and may never be offered.
Acceptable use
You must use the site lawfully and comply with the acceptable-use policy. We may suspend or close access where needed to protect the site, users, rights holders or the public.
Funding data and inference limits
Any future use of funding records must respect their official source, licence and provenance. Source facts are distinct from GrantSignal commercial inferences. A funding award is evidence of a funded project; it is not a statement that funds are unrestricted or available for arbitrary purchases. A supplier-need inference is labelled “Commercial inference — not stated procurement intention” and does not mean an organisation intends to purchase anything.
No warranties
The validation site is provided on an availability basis. We do not promise that the site, records, future features or any information will be complete, current, accurate, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose. Do not rely on the site as legal, financial, procurement, investment or professional advice.
Intellectual property
The GrantSignal name, website design and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Official-source materials remain subject to their own terms and licences. You may not copy, scrape, resell or redistribute site material except where we or the relevant rights holder expressly permit it.
Accounts
You are responsible for accurate registration information and keeping credentials confidential. You can request deletion through settings or the account deletion page.
Liability and governing law
This section requires solicitor review before commercial launch. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Until reviewed, no expanded liability allocation, governing-law or jurisdiction clause is represented as final.
